On October 4, 2025, CALex and LexYouth hosted a warm, relaxed gathering at the Church of Our Redeemer, just outside Lexington Center. New residents joined longtime locals to share tea, snacks, and stories about life in town.
The event introduced newcomers to Lexington Public Schools, community programs, and volunteer opportunities with CALex. Everyone chatted, laughed, and helped one another settle into life in Lexington.
Additionally, many outstanding speakers, both parents and students, shared their experiences through Lexington Public Schools. They addressed a wide range of frequently asked topics, like academic transportation, lunch routines, etc.
For CALex and LexYouth, it was another opportunity to welcome new neighbors and remind everyone that Lexington’s true spirit lies in its people.
