The speaker is\u00a0Michelle Gao, a Harvard second-year student, Harvard Crimson columnist and Editorial Board member. Michelle recently has published three popular articles on Harvard Crimson about Asian identity: 1) &#8220;It\u2019s Not Asians Who \u2018Game the System&#8221;; 2) &#8220;Why I Don&#8217;t Support Identity Politics Anymore\u201d; 3)\u00a0<i>\u201cWhat College Admissions Still Needs to \u2018Affirm\u2019\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/calexma.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/MichelleSeminar3.jpeg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the seminar, Michelle introduced her background and why she enjoys writing. She talked about her column and some details about the most popular parts in the articles. She explained why she thinks that writing and expressing opinions in a public forum can be an effective way to make a change in our world. She also shared her writing tips.
